To Life Long Friends
It's time to get sentimental, something I do not usually post on my blog. However, sometimes seven girls come into your life and you need to thank them for forever changing it. To Kristyn, Zoe, Maddie, Sara, Kitty, Olivia and Gwen.... this is to you!!
I could have never imagined walking into my apartment in Florence and instantly gaining seven best friends. From the moment I struggled to open the door for the first time, to the last time I shut it, the memories made behind those old wooden doors will forever be cherished. Coming into this study abroad experience I was unsure what to expect, there was so much mystery and uncertainty in my mind. I leave these past 4 months with not only a new perspective on life, but a love for travel, adventure and culture. From feeling like a tourist to knowing the city like a local, Florence, Italy will always hold a special place in my heart. From late nights going out, to wine night with the roomies, these girls never left my side. Although we come from all over the United States, our hearts will always stay attached in Florence. Our group message and snapchat group "Litaly" will never die and our yearly reunions will forever exist, because when I look back at my study abroad experience these seven girls will always be the best memory. It saddens me to leave these friendships and life behind, but I can't wait to bring my new outlook on life back home. It may sound cheesy, but no matter what sorority we are in (sorry Maddie, you're our honorary sorority girl) these are my sisters. They helped me through life away from home and for that I am forever grateful. So here's to the laughs, the tears and the memories. I love you forever my Proconsolo Loves!!!!!
Now time to get back to reality and continue my journey with Leather and Lace as I switch gears from strictly blogging about travel to blogging about oh so much more!!
for the last time... Ciao for now
