A True Fall
Sometimes in life we just move too fast and forget to appreciate the little things in life. While up in Angelus Oaks (right outside of Big Bear) this past weekend I came to a realization that I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life that I forget about the true beauty of Fall. Living in SoCal Fall it is sunny and 75 and we truly miss what many consider a traditional fall. The changing color of trees, the endless piles of leaves, sweaters, boots and warm cups of coffee by the fireplace are what everyone looks forward too during Fall. Considering we don't see much of this in SoCal going up to Angelus reminded me of what Fall really looks like. The scenery was just beautiful and I couldn't help but carry my camera everywhere I went. The long open roads, falling pinecones and glassy lakes made for the most beautiful morning hike. There's nothing like a fun new adventure. If you get a chance to head up to Big Bear, make sure you bring your camera and the willingness to adventure.
